At UFC Fight Night 183, it looked like Greg Hardy had finally turned the corner in his career as a fighter. He bludgeoned Marcin Tybura, his first test since showing significant promise in a loss to Alexander Volkov.
Coming in on a two fight win streak, Hardy poured it on Tybura in the first round.
But the durable veteran survived, and the former NFL player slowed in the second. Tybura turned the tables, landing strikes and hunting for takedowns.
He found one eventually, putting Hardy on his back and raining down strikes until the referee stepped in to halt the action with just under 30 seconds left in the second round.
